Statistical questions on meta-analysis
Dear...

We are hoping to do a meta-analysis including studies that applied general linear model analysis, say ANCOVA with  p values. Is it possible to include these studies since there are no avaliable t or z values and these studies didnt use t test?

With best wishes,
Jane

RE: Statistical questions on meta-analysis
Dear Jane,

you can convert the p-values to t-values and use the latter. Note that during the conversion you must specify the degrees of freedom depending on the overall sample size and the number of coefficients of the GLM.

Hope this helps,

Joaquim
