I am very new to SPHARM-PDM or any other shape analysis tool as well as Slicer. I am using SPHARM-PDM as a Slicer extension. I have nifti files (.nii) and it seems SPHARM-PDM does not run with nifti files. Is there a way to conver nifti files to gipl.gz file?

No need to convert. It works with any of the ITK supported file formats (analyze, nifti, Nrrd, gipl, and more)

Hi,

I'm having the same issue. I ran SPHARM-PDM in slicer 4.4.0 using my original nifti files and, while the program did run to completion, the vtk meshes could not be visualized in slicer and the program did not run properly. I tried re-running the software on a subset of images that I converted to gipl files manually using ITK snap and the problem was resolved. Any idea what went wrong with the nifti files?
