Particle Correspondence creates empty folder
Hi,
I need to use SPHARM-PDM with particle correspondence for my project.
I installed Slicer 4.4.0 on my mac OS.X and then manager extension -> download shape analysis module -> restart Slicer .
I followed the tutorial of June 2015 and check the box DoParticleCorrespondence and when I run the module I received Status:completed. The folder created are full of vtk ant txt file except for ParticleCorrespondence folder that is empty.
What's wrong?

RE: Particle Correspondence creates empty folder
Dear Francesca,
We are no longer supporting particle correspondence for our SPHARM-PDM distribution. The last SPHARM-PDM version is distributed as 3DSlicer extension and as Slicer loadable packages (in the download section of this site). Those are the versions supported by the tutorial you mention.
I am confused about the fact the current distribution (last extension version we distributed) produces a ParticleCorrespondence folder. Could please you confirm the version of the code you are using?
Thank you for using SPHARM-PDM.
Best regards,
Beatriz

Thanks Bea
my additional 2 cents:
- If you are looking to run the particle correspondence, it is still quite straightforward to do so using the newest distribution of ShapeWorks, but like Bea said, it is no longer integrated with the tool. https://www.sci.utah.edu/software/shapeworks.html
- We expect later in the year to add our alternative group-wise correspondence to the SPHARM distribution called Groups: [1] I. Lyu, S. H. Kim, J.-K. Seong, S. W. Yoo, A. Evans, Y. Shi, M. Sanchez, M. Niethammer, and M. Styner, "Robust estimation of group-wise cortical correspondence with an application to macaque and human neuroimaging studies.," Frontiers in Neuroscience, vol. 9, p. 210, 2015.
