NKI/Rockland Sample,rs-fMRI: eyes closed/open
Dear INDI users,

can anyone help us to answer the question whether the 10 minutes resting state fMRI examinations were done with eyes closed or eyes open (with or without fixation) condition? This is almost marginal however, it would be good to know. We would like to test a modulation-related method using publicly available data by comparing young and old subjects' rs-fMRI modules, probably NKI/Rockland Sample is appropriate for this. Which is the best way to refer to this sample (e.g. URL, paper - it was not obvious for me)?

Bests,
Zoltan

Prior to each rest scan, subjects were presented the following instructions:

"Keep your eyes open and stay awake"

Though I notice now that this isn't actually mentioned anywhere online or in the paper.

Probably best to cite the Frontiers paper describing the sample: http://journal.frontiersin.org/article/10.3389/fnins.2012.00152/full
