Overlap SPM segmentation in MRIcron?
Hi everyone,
As we know, lesions draw from MRIcron can be overlap.
However, can SPM segmentation like white matter hyperintensities in Flair can be overlap in MRIcron as a lesion?
Thanks!

RE: Overlap SPM segmentation in MRIcron?
The Draw menu allows you to overlay binary images (e.g. a voxel is either a lesion or not), while the Overlay menu allows you to overlay an image with continuous intensities (e.g. proportion of voxel that is white matter). By default, SPM segmentation tends to save gray matter and white matter as continuous values: due to partial volume effects a voxel might be 70% white matter, 20% gray matter and 10% CSF. Therefore, you would typically load a SPM segmentation map with the overlay commands. You could always impose an arbitrary threshold to binarize your segmentation maps, but you will be losing some information.
