Remove nonrelevent structures fromCardiac MRI
Hi,

I am using cardiac MRI and my problem is how to remove non-relevant structures from these images with MRIcro.
The proposed solution with MRIcro is skull strip using BET,but my problem is that i am no using brain Images.

Is there any solution, or another software ?

Thanks in advance

Remove nonrelevent structures fromCardiac MRI
Hi ones,
I'm not sure about MRIcro but in FSL this is possible:
First create a mask from your image
Second in command line write
""Fslmaths your image -mas your mask output ""
The output is the bet version of your image.

RE: Remove nonrelevent structures fromCardiac MRI
Hello Ines,
you could use bet which is part of the FSL package and it will help you to extract the heart but it wouldn't be so accurate so you will need to play around with the threshold to get the best extraction
the second method could be using ITKSNAP package which could give you a better image with better mask.
Again you might need to edit the mask after both methods to get the best extraction
Good luck
