UltraTracer for Windows?
Hi everyone!

I want to use the UltraTracer in windows. I downloaded the latest version of the Vaa3d but it doesn't come with the ultratracer plugin. Does anybody know how to get it?

Thanks!!

In current released versions, UltraTracer is only available on Linux machine. If your image size is not very large, you can try our different tracing plugins under "Plug-In" --> "neuron_tracing". Or you can build one for your windows machine from the source code under https://github.com/Vaa3D/vaa3d_tools/tre...

Thanks,

Zhi

Hi Maria,

Did you ever end up building an UltraTracer plugin for Windows?

RE: UltraTracer for Windows?
(Thank you very much for asking. I tried, but I remember in the cobwebs of
my mind that the error message I was getting in Visual Studio stated that
it couldn't find a particular v3d file, which I thought meant that it
couldn't find a file that would have been made had I built Vaa3D entirely
from the source code, which I also have not successfully done. I'm just a
novice when it comes to building any sort of application or file from
source code. I would very much like to know how to do this, but I've
assumed new responsibilities in my job and haven't had the time. Thanks.)
