the problem of installing smartScope2 plugin
I have met a problem when I installed the s2 plugin in Vaa3D. I am
not sure whether the s2 plugin has been installed
successfully or not.
Does s2 need to be used in combination with a two-photon(2p) microscope?

Hi there,
The tab 'simulator' is for offline operation, i.e., without real microscope. However, you will need an image stack ready so that the simulator can 'simulate' the image acquisition scenario.
