How to completely describe the heterogeneity analysis?
Hi,experts on SDM.
I found the heterogeneity analysis could be mentioned that:"heterogeneity analysis was performed
to test if the observed variance across studies was larger than that resulting from sampling error alone.[1]"
But how to completely describe the heterogeneity analysis? Or we could say how to get the heterogeneity statistics. One of my reviews wants to get more detailed description of the heterogeneity analysis.
Ref:
[1]Radua, J., & Mataixcols, D. (2009). Voxel-wise meta-analysis of grey matter changes in obsessive–compulsive disorder. British Journal of Psychiatry, 195(5), 393-402
But I failed to get more detailed information on heterogeneity analysis.
Many thanks in advance.
Best.

RE: How to completely describe the heterogeneity analysis?
Dear Pingfan
the paper http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.eurpsy.2011.... describes these analyses in a bit more detail.
Further details on heterogeneity (for any meta-analysis, not only for SDM) can be found at e.g. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Study_hete...
Hope this helps,
Joaquim
EDIT: The DOI link of the paper appears to be broken, please use this link: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/ar...

Hi, same here the link to the paper does not work. Any chance you
can put the complete reference to that paper? thank you!
