Unable to read controls/options buttons in the panels on the right
Hi!
I'm working on a Windows-64bit computer and just downloaded and installed Vaa3D-3.2
I am having trouble exploring Vaa3D because many of the dialogue boxes that pop up, and the control/options button on the right-hand side are too small. The buttons and slider options are very small and over lapping. I cannot see all the options I can choose from or read the words associated with each option. I've attached a screenshot.
When I resize the window the area displaying my volume is resized to fit the new dimensions, but the buttons/controls remain the same size.
Is there a way to resize the Vaa3D interface so all the buttons/controls/options are visible?
Thanks!

Please try to adjust system font on your computer.

RE: Unable to read controls/options buttons in the panels on the right
Hi again,
This problem is back. I'm now using Windows 10 and changing the font and text size setting do not fix the issue. All the buttons are very small and only a few letter for each label are visible.
Any solutions I could try?
Thank-you!
Sam

We don't have such issue on Windows 10 using regular or 4k
monitors. You can try to use our latest version (https://github.com/Vaa3D/release/release...) first. If the problem is still not solved, you may have to check
Windows 10 related forum to find the answer. Hope it helps.

RE: Unable to read controls/options buttons in the panels on the right
Hi Zhi,
Thanks for the advice. The fresh install didn't solve the problem. I am starting to think it may have to do with my graphics card. Both the windows PCs Iused had graphics cards, but a Mac I worked on before didn't...? Do you think it is possible?
Also, do you know of optimized settings for discrete graphics card that make Vaa3D run at its best?
It may be a general Windows 10 thing, but I only see this issue when running Vaa3D.
Thank-you! I hope to solve this issue so I can make the most of Vaa3D!

RE: Unable to read controls/options buttons in the panels on the right
Solved it!
Changing the Vaa3D application properties to override the high DPI and forcing the scaling to be performed by the system fixed the issues. Trade off is you loose the high DPI in Vaa3D.
Right clicked on the Vaa3D application and went into the Properties. On the compatibility tab I checked "Override high DPI scaling behaviour." Then in the drop down menu for "Scaling performed by:" I choose "System". [Note, choosing "System (Enhanced)" messes up the scaling of the volume in 3D mode, but regular "System" does not]
The default for the Vaa3D application was to NOT override high DPI scaling behaviour, and have scaling performed by the application (ie Vaa3D)
The outcome is that the buttons and sliding bars are now full sized and I can maneuver around the Vaa3D just fine.
Attached some picture to show what I did and the outcome, note the slightly 'pixilated' text.
Not sure why I had this issue but others using 4K display and Windows 10 do not.
thank-you!
