I'm not sure what the goal of the Denoising task effects, and why we conduct this step.
In addition, the Conditions Setup of the manual showed “when you are not interested in obtaining task-specific measures of functional connectivity, but want instead to use Fair et al. method for estimating resting-state connectivity from block or event-related designs, to copy conditions to the 1st-level covariates". What's the difference between this step and the above task effects Denoising.
Finally, if my interest in assessing connectivity across both rest and task states, I am not quite sure whether the above two steps should be performed.
