Importing custom ROIs into Conn
Hi,
I was wondering if someone could help me with this problem: I have 3D nifti files in MNI space that I would like to import to Conn for use as custom ROIs. To clarify, these are not anatomical regions per se (rather they represent regions of electrical tissue activation) and currently do not exist at all in Conn. Is it possible to do this and, if so, how would I go about it? I have tried to simply place the nifti files in the 'conn/rois' folder but this does not appear to work. Any help would be much appreciated.

RE: Importing custom ROIs into Conn
Hi Gavin,
You would simply go to the Setup.ROIs tab and define your new/additional ROIs there. To do that first click on the ROIs list right after the last existing ROI (or click on the '+' button at the bottom of this list), then enter a name for this new ROI (under the 'ROI name' section), and last select in the file-selection tool at the right your nifti mask/file and click the 'Select/Import' button to import this file into your CONN project.
Hope this helps
Alfonso
