Scanner Comparison
Is anyone looking at a direct comparison across Trio and Prisma (Siemens) scanners?

RE: Scanner Comparison
Hi! We've just upgraded from Trio to Prisma scanner and started to work in the comparison between them (including T1, diffusion and functional acquisitions).

Good morning David -

We did a Trio/Prisma comparison of resting state data for a recent imaging study of transcranial magnetic stimulation for PTSD/depression (Philip et al Biological Psychiatry 2018). The comparison is published in the supplement.

Hi David,

We're currently collecting the post upgrade scans after our upgrade from Tim Trio to Prisma fit. We ran some of the HCP protocols / tasks so will be interesting to see how they match up.

Seems there are quite a few people working on this, maybe it would make sense to harmonize our efforts and potentially share data? Let me know if you are interested!

Oh cool, is this the paper? https://www-sciencedirect-com.proxy.library.georgetown.edu/science/article/pii/S0006322318302609#sec2

Been hard to find from the ref you shared.

Can't see the paper provided due to the Georgetown shibboleth. The main paper is PMID 28886760.

RE: Scanner Comparison
Hi David,

We upgraded from Trio to Prisma last year and tried to look at differences in diffusion datasets.
We are particularly interested in spatial inhomogeneity differences, e.g. in SNR.   Wanted to collect Rx Tx
field maps but did not.  Would like to hear if anyone else pursued that.   Unfortunately our Trio is now
gone, but we could try to get some test time on our Prisma.
