Greetings everyone, 
 
I've been learning Conn and created a few 'test' projects. Once I began to understand how it worked, I created a "conn_Master" project, that I would merge with a couple of other projects. The merge process seems straight forward. I now have two projects I'd like to merge, "conn_Master" and "conn_project_06" - I have spent two days working on this without success. 
 
What I’ve done
Following the video tutorials
 
(#1) conn_Master project (4-subjects, 4-sessions)

• started with 1 condition (rest)
• renamed the first analysis to network_SBC
• removed all the 'Seeds/Sources' from the left side 
• added multiple networks and regions to 'Seeds/Sources' from the choices on the right
  • These are a 1x53 cell in conn_Master/results/firstlevel/Networks_SBC/_list_sources.mat
• followed the rest of the videos step-by-step
• After video #3, I renamed condition “rest” to “rest_pre” (session 1-2 =entire session; 3-4=missing)
  • added condition “rest_post (session 1-2=missing; 3-4=entire session)
  • added condition “rest” to the bottom of the list (sessions 1-4=entire session)
• clicked “Done”
• Re-did Denoising
• Re-did first-level Analysis
• re-did second-level Analysis
• removed all but networks.DefaultMode.MPFC (1,55,-3) from the 'Seeds/Sources' 
  • after repeating steps 8-10, rather than a 1x1 cell, there is still a 1x53 cell in conn_Master/results/firstlevel/Networks_SBC/_list_sources.mat
• Returned to Setup->Conditions, removed the “third” condition named “rest”
• clicked “Done”
• Re-did Denoising
• Re-did first-level Analysis
• re-did second-level Analysis
• The file:conn_Master/results/firstlevel/Networks_SBC/_list_conditions.txt has:
  • Condition002 = rest_pre
  • Condition003 = rest_post
  
  
  

(#2) creating 'conn_project_06' (5-subjects, 4-sessions)

• started with 3-conditions
  • “rest_pre” (session 1-2 =entire session; 3-4=missing)
  • “rest_post (session 1-2=missing; 3-4=entire session)
  • “rest” to the bottom of the list (sessions 1-4=entire session)
• renamed the first analysis to network_SBC
• removed all the 'Seeds/Sources' from the left side
• added only the 1st networks.DefaultMode.MPFC (1,55,-3) to 'Seeds/Sources' from the choices on the right
  • this is a 1x1 cell in: conn_project_06/results/firstlevel/Networks_SBC/_list_sources.mat
• followed the rest of the video step-by-step
• After video #2, I returned to Setup->Conditions, removed the “third” condition named “rest”
• clicked “Done”
• Re-did Denoising
• Re-did first-level Analysis
• re-did second-level Analysis
• The file: conn_project_06/results/firstlevel/Networks_SBC/_list_conditions.txt has
  • Condition001 = rest_pre
  • Condition002 = rest_post 

 
What I want to do

• My main goal is to merge the projects
• Remove all but the networks.DefaultMode.MPFC (1,55,-3) in the conn_Master/results/firstlevel/Networks_SBC/_list_sources.mat

 
Problems/Issues/Errors

• Trying to merge the projects via the gui I get this error message:
  • Incompatible condition names with project /Volumes/Data/Imaging/ConnTest2/conn_project_06.mat

I have tried everything short of completely creating a new “Master project”
Any help with this issue would be great appreciated as I have several other projects to add to the master project.
