As far as I know, while DKE prefers data sorted by B-value ("-d y"), other tools do not care. The 'unsorted data' (default behavior) retains the order of acquisition (so you could say it is sorted by time), so it may be easier to identify head movements through visual inspection. Unless you use DKE, this seems a matter of preference.
