We performed second-level analysis, in seed-to-voxel, we chose the left Hippocampus as seed with whole brain analysis. We later extracted the functional connectivity between left hippocampus and this cluster and correlated with behavioral performance. reviewers are now asking whether PVE effects were considered both in the hippocampus and in the whole brain analysis. What I understood from previous forums is that PVE effects are reduced in GM, WM and CSF segmentation (erosion), but does this also reduce PVEs in atlas ROIs??  If PVEs effects are considered in conn denoising step, could you please explain how, and if not, is there any way to do this? maybe reducing ROI volume?
