Why is SurfIce not recognizing values from my image correctly?
Dear SurfIce developers & community,

As one other user (https://www.nitrc.org/forum/forum.php?th...), I have trouble plotting my statistics map onto a template provided in your toolbox.

I would like to plot statistics (in the format of a nifti - in MNI space/vox 2 2 2) onto BrainMesh_ICBM152.mz3.
However, the ranges in SurfIce do not correspond with the actual voxel values. In fact, the minimum and the maximum value, that SurfIce recognizes, does not exist in the real nifti. This also happens if I use mni_2009.mz3 as a template, even though the mesh and the statistical image should be in the same space.

I tried a different approach by creating a voxelwise atlas to a mesh and assign values to each ROI as described here: https://www.nitrc.org/plugins/mwiki/inde...
As described above, values plotted in SurfIce do not correspond with the real values. This is especially problematic when we have a very condensed scale (e.g. 0-1).

Hence my question: Is SurfIce converting/altering the values in any way?

As this still may be a registration problem: Is there a way to create niftis from a mz3-file?

Thanks for you help and of course for sharing this great visualization tool!

Nina
