RE: how to test across conditions ?
Dear Sven,

Yes, the "effect of A", "effect of B" etc. factors during Denoising are perfectly fine, they are simply modeling session-specific average and small transient effects. Then, when you get to second-level analyses you will see something like the attached, where your conditions (e.g. A, B, C, etc., instead of time1, time2, time3, as in the example image) will be listed in the "conditions" list and you may simply select several of them (e.g. A and B) and enter an associated between-conditions contrast (e.g. [1 -1]) to compare them

Hope this helps
Alfonso

thanks for your fast reply

in fact this is what I also tried, but I had 2 problems (doing 6 conditions ABCDEF)

- I then got something called "effect of A", "effect of B" etc...
strangely, A hat a curve going up and then plateau, while all other curves were simple plateaus ..

- I was still not able to define e.g A versus B. How does this work ??
