Hopping on this 4-year-old thread because I have a similar issue...

I managed to use the code to create a custom colormap, and it shows up in the colorbar/legend beautifully, but the actual edge colors are not matching the full range of colors in the colorbar. The colorbar ranges from purple to yellow, and all the lines are purple despite differing values. For example, the legend shows that edges with a value of 5 should be yellow, but they are purple in the actual figure. Is there another option I need to change, either in the GUI or in the code?
