Splitting runs in half in CONN
Dear CONN community,

I have successfully imported my fmriprep preprocessed dataset into CONN using the GUI, including the QC transformed covariates. However, I would like to analyze the functional connectivity (FC) of each half of the entire run separately. That is, I wish to obtain the FC matrices per subject for the first half of the run, then separate FC matrices per subject for the second half of the run.

I understand that it is possible to split the functional scans by changing the 4D functional niftis into 3D, then recombining them into two separate 4D nifti files that reflect the first and second half of the run. However, I'm not sure how to do the same for the fmriprep covariates in the least cumbersome method (ie. I do not wish to edit each *confounds_regressors.tsv file manually). Could anyone advise me on how to split my fmriprep imported dataset; preferably by scripting?

Best,
Lillian
