Problems with Siemens data conversion
Dear Chris Rorden,
we are experiencing some troubles with the conversion of dicom data from a Siemens Magnetom Skyra scanner, software version syngo MR XA30. I am aware that problems exist with the images from Siemens scanners (as described here: https://github.com/rordenlab/dcm2niix/is...) which is why we are careful to export them in enhanced format. Despite this fact, the conversion with dcm2niix results in various error messages, including:
- slice orientation varies (localizer?) [0 1 0 0 0 -1] != [1 0 0 0 0 -1]
- Warning: Slice timing appears corrupted (range 0..7945, TR=8.6 ms)
- Warning: Siemens XA exported as classic not enhanced DICOM (issue 236)
- Warning: Siemens XA DICOM inadequate for robust conversion (issue 236)
- Warning: Check that 2D images are not mirrored.
Could you help us resolve these problems? Of course, I would be happy to provide further information if needed.
