** 1000 Functional Connectomes Project (FCP) / International Neuroimaging Data-sharing Initiative (INDI) Data Release Announcement **

RELEASE NAME: Enhanced NKI-RS ‘FULL PHENOTYPIC’ Release

PROVIDER: Enhanced Nathan Kline Institute - Rockland Sample (NKI-RS)

DATA TYPE: Resting state fMRI (TR = 645, 1400, 2500), diffusion tensor imaging (137 directions / 2mm isotropic), comprehensive phenotyping

ANNOUNCEMENT: We are pleased to announce the release of comprehensive phenotypic and imaging data for the first 200 participants of the Enhanced NKI-RS (minimum data usage agreements are required to protect participant privacy).

Phenotypic data includes:

- Comprehensive psychiatric assessment

- Psychiatric and behavioral assessment questionnaires (item-level information included)

- Neuropsychological testing

- Cognitive/behavioral performance measures

- Basic laboratory measures

- Respiratory and cardiac recordings obtained during imaging

- Actigraphy (for a minimum 1 night of sleep)

MRI imaging data includes:

- multiband resting state functional MRI (TR = 645/3mm isotropic; 10 min)

- multiband resting state functional MRI (TR = 1400/2mm isotropic; 10 min)

- standard resting state functional MRI (TR = 2500/3mm isotropic; 5 min)

- multiband diffusion tensor imaging (137 directions/2mm isotropic; <7 min).

Additionally, we attempted to obtain the following scans: 1) breath-holding and 2) visual checkerboard stimulation (blocked design).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

1) The Enhanced NKI-RS is a large scale NIMH-funded imaging effort dedicated to the acquisition and open distribution of functional and structural imaging data for 1000 community-ascertained individuals between the ages of 6.0 and 85.0 years old, over a 4-year period. A publication describing the NKI-RS effort (Nooner et al., 2012) can be found at: http://www.frontiersin.org/Brain_Imaging_Methods/10.3389/fnins.2012.00152/abstract<%22http://www.frontiersin.or>

2) A 24-subject test-retest pilot multiband dataset for this protocol is available: http://fcon_1000.projects.nitrc.org/indi/pro/eNKI_RS_TRT/FrontPage.html<%22http://fcon_1>

3) The Enhanced NKI-Rockland Sample Lite is available:

DATA COLLECTION PERIOD: March, 2012 – present

SHARING TYPE: prospective/pre-publication, data usage agreement required to protect participant privacy
