A lot has developed regarding the plans for OHBM in Seattle. The art show,
curated by Noah Hutton, is coming together beautifully. We have reserved
The Crocodile for the party on Monday night (June 17), and linked in with
the Student/Postdoc social, which will be kicking off the evening from
8-9:30pm. We'll then be announcing the winners of the Brain-Art Competition
(we already have around 20+ submissions. Deadline: June 5).
To make this all happen, we need to raise some funds for transporting the
art, setup, and venue rental. We'll be publicizing the fundraising campaign
on our blog early this coming week, but if you were considering
contributing to the campaign, now would be a great time to do so. The more
successful it is when others begin tuning in, the better it will spread.
We're very grateful to those who have already contributed, and especially
Michael Milham, who has offered official support from the Child Mind
Institute and the 1000 Functional Connectomes Project / International
Neuroimaging Data-sharing Initiative (FCP/INDI). To make this happen
though, we still have a long way to go:

Spread the word...
See you soon,
