Kamil Ugurbil<https://med.umn.edu/bio/kamil-ugurbil> (University of Minnesota Medical School; McKnight Endowed Chair and Professor of Radiology, jointly appointed in Medicine and Neuroscience, and founding Director for the Center for Magnetic Resonance Research) is our special guest speaker.

Kamil is a distinguished leader in the field for both the development and applications of high field MR, particularly in human neuroimaging. His work is notably focused on high spatiotemporal resolution and with high accuracy for both functional and anatomical information. He is a Member of National Academy of Medicine, and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and a recipient of numerous medals, including the IEEE Medal for Innovations in Healthcare Technology.
