Neural Systems Laboratory, Institute of Basic Medical Sciences Attribution Yes University of Oslo NITRC Waxholm Space Atlas of the Sprague Dawley Rat Brain OS Independent Yes Ingvild Bjerke Open access volumetric atlas of the Sprague Dawley rat brain. The delineations are defined in isotropic magnetic resonance (39 μm) and diffusion tensor (78 μm) images acquired ex vivo from an 80 day old male rat at the Duke Center for In Vivo Microscopy. Coordinates for navigating the volume are provided by the Waxholm Space coordinate system. The location of bregma and lambda are also identified as anchors towards stereotaxic space. The atlas delineations and the MRI/DTI reference data are shared along with labels and configuration files for ITK-SNAP, the Mouse BIRN Atlasing Toolkit, and PMOD. The latest atlas version contains 222 structures. For more information, see MediaWiki. The atlas has been adopted as the standard rat brain atlas for the EBRAINS infrastructure, see https://ebrains.eu/service/rat-brain-atlas/. The atlas is shared under the CC BY 4.0 licence, see Citation for instructions on how to cite. 2023-4-20 v4.01 2021-10-01 Bundle 2021-10-01 v4.00 2021-10-01 v3.01 2019-5-15 v3.00 2016-9-27 v1.00 2015-2-02 v2.00 2014-7-17 v1.01 2014-7-17 v1.01 2014-4-09 v1.00 2014-4-09 v1.00 Waxholm Space Atlas of the Sprague Dawley Rat Brain Atlas Data, Atlas Application, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, Parkinson Disease, Stroke, Huntington Disease, Brain Injuries, PET/SPECT, MR, Human Brain Project (Europe), Attribution, OS Independent, NIfTI-1 http://www.nitrc.org/projects/whs-sd-atlas/ i.e.bjerke@medisin.uio.no
