Summary: more information NITRC funding... |
Detailed description |
I am applying for a grant that
will make use of NITRC resources... I need to explain that NITRC
will be around... so: When does the current funding for NITRC
expire? Is there a grant number that I can cite to show that NITRC
is funded? Do you have a 1-2 sentence blurb that I could use to
justify use of NITRC of NITRC resources as the basis for a
long-term research project?

NITRC is funded by NIH
Blueprint for Neurosciences Research contract N02-EB-6-4281, which
expires the end of fiscal year 2010-11.
The NIH has recently awarded at least 7 three-year grants which
cite NITRC as their home in their data sharing plan. We hope that
as more funded grants have this situation, the case will make
itself for refunding NITRC.
