ShapeWorksRemoteClient silently fails on Optimize with Torus example

Detailed description

I was unable to get the Optimize phase of the pipeline to complete on the standard Torus example. No progress is ever reported, and the system does not return an error. The tab does turn red, which I assume means an error has occurred.
