I know it's a big change, but it gets very confusing to browse through result directories when you start having 20+ modules per layout.
It might be possible to use the fact that each module is currently forced to have a different name in a given layout (a very good feature) to then use that unique name in place of the letters in the the exp-0000-AABCA etc. The lettering has little meaning on its own anyway, and brings some annoyances when changing a layout (data that was previously processed has to be re-run because the letter ordering has changed, for instance).
