Summary: more information TeraFly crashes when importing a volume from a storage mounted in
read-only mode |
Detailed description |
TeraFly (together with Vaa3D) crashes when a volume is imported
from a storage mounted in read-only mode. This is probably due to
the fact that TeraFly may need to write some metadata (volume
map[vmap.bin], volume info[mdata.bin]) if it's not already
present.
A message error should be shown indicating that writing permissions
are necessary to use TeraFly.

I added many throw exception points when attempting to write/read
any file. It works for me (on Ubuntu), but still need to be tested
on MacOS X when importing volumes from NTFS storages.
