Detailed description

This is an old problem identified a few years ago. Initially 3D viewer of anythings (images and surface files) work nicely through X windows tunneling. But later somehow 3D viewer stops working for the 3D image for X window tunneling.

Now I found the X windows tunneling actually works for 3D viewer that display a surface object (e.g. a neuron), -- as tested on CentOS (server) X Windows tunneling through Mac. Need to find why for image stack it still crashes.
