RESEARCH ASSISTANT: Stanford University invites applications for the post of a Cognitive Neuroscience Research Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to work on NIH-funded projects involving brain imaging studies of cognitive function and dysfunction, cognitive development and learning disabilities. The successful candidate will participate in all aspects of research related to lab projects, including: assembling and administering assessment instruments (WASI, WIAT-II, etc.), screening and recruiting subjects, obtaining informed consent, scheduling subjects for testing, tracking progress of the study and behavioral data, verifying data and entering pertinent information into database for statistical analysis, conducting statistical analyses, and assistance with manuscript preparation. A bachelor's degree in psychology, neuroscience, human biology, or related fields is required. A strong academic record is essential; previous experience/background with statistical analysis and using applications like SPSS and an interest in neuroscience will be viewed favorably. A minimum commitment of two years is required. This is a full-time position slated to start in the summer of 2010 with competitive benefits. Lab website is http://scsnl.stanford.edu.
