I am new to this business. Does slomoco always include a pestica correction in the newest version?

No. you can run slmoco without PESTICA (or PMU) correction, without
-r or -p option, e.g. slicemoco_newalgorithm.sh -d yourepihere

Good to know, I was just a bit puzzled by the pestica folder
created during the slomoco run. Thank you!
