RE: Screen shot attached
Hi Michael,

I could not find any obvious "smoking gun" in the conn_*.mat file for the memory-issues you were finding. There is some subtle difference in subject 7 functional data where it seems that it contains 180 scans (instead of 178 as all the other subjects where the first two scans had been removed) so perhaps this indicates some difference in how this particular subject was preprocessed compared to the other subjects which may give you some clues? Alternatively I would also probably suggest to try simply re-installing spm (re-download the latest version) just to make sure that there are not specific issues in your version of the mex spm_sample_vol file there.

If nothing works I will be happy to take a closer look at your data to see if we can get to the heart of this issue (send me an e-mail to see if we can arrange a VNC session or some other way for me to interact with your data)

Best
Alfonso

I have attached the conn_*.mat file. My functional data goes through preprocessing ok.
