Notes:
The Waxholm Space (WHS) atlas of the Sprague Dawley rat brain
(Papp et al. 2014) is a public resource based on high resolution
magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and diffusion tensor imaging (DTI)
data. The atlas presents brain-wide delineations of major brain
regions and tracts. Version 4.01 of the atlas (Kleven et al. 2023)
includes a total of 224 anatomical delineations covering all major
brain regions. As an update from version 4, the following changes
were added in response to the review process of the accompanying
paper. - 3 new regions were added: -
504 trigeminal nerve (5n) - New in v4.01, partly replaces the
spinal trigeminal tract - 505 medullary spinal
trigeminal tract (msp5t) - New in v4.01, partly replaces the spinal
trigeminal tract - 506 Anterior olfactory
area, unspecified (AOA-u) - New in v4.01, replaces part of
Olfactory bulb, unspecified - 1 region was revised: 66
Olfactory bulb, unspecified (OB-u) - 1 region was replaced:
