Fiber-tracking based on Finsler distance
This module uses the output of the "Finsler tractography" to actually trace the estimated fiber bundles from a set of target regions to the seeding regions used to compute the Finsler distance map. The map of optimal arrival directions is integrated with a second order Runge-Kutta method starting at the target regions and until the seeding region is reached (or some other stopping criterion is met).
Note that you should have "Finsler Tractography based on HARDI" installed and working in order to be able to use the present module (see the documentation therein for more details on the Finsler Tractography method).
This software can be compiled either as a 3D-Slicer CLI module or a stand-alone program (you need ITK and VTK). In the latter case, the fibers are written to disk.
NOTE: This software is currently provided as a sub-project in the Finsler-tractography module: http://www.nitrc.org/projects/finslertra...
