RE: how to get default probe info file
Dear Adar Sansal,
In case you want to analyze a dataset whose channel configuration you are not aware of, you may retrieve this information from the header file (*.hdr). In the section 13.3 of the latest NIRStar User Manual (14-2) there is an example of how the S-D-Key field represents the channel configuration of your measurement.
But if by "channel configuration" you are referring to the probeInfo file, you can create this by using the Probe Setup module in the Utilities portal in nirsLAB. There you can enter the sources and detectors positions as well as define the channels of your interest for the analysis. You may find further detailed information about this module in the chapter 7 of the nirsLAB user manual.
Please let us know if you have any further questions - you may write us directly to support@nirx.net .
Kind regards,
Guilherme
