MGH Neonatal/Pediatric ADC atlases

Existing neonatal/pediatric atlases were mainly on structural MRI. We release here a set of Apparent Diffusion Coefficient (ADC) atlases. ADC measures water diffusion magnitude at each voxel.

We constructed 10 age-specific atlases (i.e., first 2 weeks of life, the rest of the 1st quarter, the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th quarters of life, year 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, 4-5 and 5-6). For each age group, the atlas space represents the mean geometry/anatomy of the group. Available in the atlas space are both the mean and standard deviation ADC values at the voxel level.

We expect this set of age-specific ADC atlases useful to characterize normative ADC changes and to assist identifying abnormalities.
