SDM on Ubuntu freezes when creating masks
Hi Joaquim,

Thanks for your great program

As I have a Mac (OS C v 10.9.4) I am using Virtual Machine to run Ubuntu linux (14.04) so I can run SDM (4.13)

When I build masks of the some AAL brain regions there is no problem but for the particular regions at the end of the AAL list this causes error messages or SDM appears to freeze.

See attached screenshot: the last region freezes SDM (the SDM Working message never goes away), while some of the other regions seem to cause errors. I've noticed that other regions such as Right cingulate also causes it to crash

Thank you

Matthew

RE: SDM on Ubuntu freezes when creating masks
Dear Matthew,

thank you very much for your message. I think that the problem was that filenames cannot have some characters such as "/", but SDM did not check it. Next version of SDM (available very soon) will check this, but on the meantime you can overcome the problem using simpler names (without "/" or other non-alphanumeric characters).

All the best,

Joaquim
