Hi there,
I found several studies used SPM to process their data but reported coordinates in Talairach space, they didn't say whether they used tools like mni2tal.m to convert their results or not. How should I name that coordinate file?
Some are even more confusing, such as:
Transformed into Talairach using the EPI template of SPM99 as a reference.
To my knowledge, EPI template of SPM99 is in MNI space.
How to deal studies like that?
Thanks.

Dear ___,
this is sometimes difficult to know. Maybe one solution is to use a viewer such as MRICron and check whether the coordinates in MNI or in Talairach space are located in the places reported in the text and figures of the paper. You can also ask the authors.
Hope this helps,
