Very frequent crashes, urgent deadline
Dear Joaquim and SDM users,

I have been using the program for several months and although it has been crashing fairly regularly (message - sdm has stopped working and needs to close) this has been at manageable points and I have been able to run complete analysis.
However today (a few days before my deadline!) the program has had to stop working and close in the middle of almost every analysis I run. It often happens after the first study has been left out in a jackknife analysis and the probabilities are being saved before moving on to the next study. The SDM table also keeps randomly changing e.g swapping rows to columns and adding in random cells or reporting rows or columns are absent when they are not.
I have now managed to get a clear run of a jackknife analysis and the only thing I am left to do is a multimodal analysis to act as a conjunction analysis between my two fMRI task groups.
The program crashes every time I start trying to run this.
Please could you let me know exactly how I should be attempting this (files needed, where they need to be, if a table is needed) in case I am making a mistake.
I have tried on two different computers and have the same issue.
On some attempts at the multimodal analysis but not others I get a message in the batch window about a hicolor icon file with a web address to download this but when I do I'm unsure where this needs to be saved / which bits need to be extracted.
I'm aware from your paper there are other ways of running conjunction analysis but am also unsure about how to approach these. If there is not an easy fix to the multimodal conjunction method, any advice on which images I need to use in alternative software to run this would be very much appreciated.

Many thanks in advance for your help and what is usually a fantastic program,
Jo

RE: Very frequent crashes, urgent deadline
Dear Jo,

I am really sorry for the crashes and for the late reply, I was completely out of office. Given that your deadline is so close, I may run the analyses for you if you send me the two results of interest by email.

Hope this helps,

Joaquim

RE: Very frequent crashes, urgent deadline
Dear Joaquim,

Thank you for your response and kind offer. My deadline was for a masters dissertation which I've now submitted and was able to get enough data from the software to be absolutely fine so no worries. I'm going to keep working on the analysis with some additional data I've received so will get in touch again with more information if the problems continue and hopefully can help to solve them.

Best wishes,

Jo
