I aim to do a mixed coordinate- and image-based meta-analysis. Should I first do the coordinate-based meta-analysis and then combine the generated t-map with the other t-maps I have collected from other studies?

Just to point out - I'm not an SDM expert, I've just used it in the past! If you just want to combine the studies with coordinates and maps you do them all in one analysis at the same time - SDM first recreates a map for every study with coordinates then combines them with the maps. If you follow the steps in the tutorial it shows you how to name the coordinate files and preprocess them to create maps.
