meta-analysis of voxelwise correlation with symptom severity
Dear Anton and Joaquim,
First off, apologies for supersaturating the forum with questions. While working on a VBM meta-analysis between patients/controls, I've identified a number of studies which did not compare patients vs. controls, but performed whole-brain voxelwise correlation between GM volume and symptom severity within the patient group. I'm writing to ask whether it would be the appropriate analysis to perform a VBM meta-analysis on studies which perform whole-brain voxelwise correlation with symptom severity within a patient group (it would be a 1 sample meta-analysis).
If you have the time, I'd equally love to hear your response on my post "conjunction analysis setup", asking whether I could use the "Multimodal" tool to compare 2 VBM meta-analyses of different patient groups (for instance, comparing a VBM meta-analysis for patients with depression vs. controls and a VBM meta-analysis for patients with anxiety vs. controls). I'm wondering for this also which file I would select for the "p-value images".
Thanks very much for your attention and time.
Best,
Colleen
