Hello,
we are university students doing a research project on MRI defacing/refacing and we were wondering, how or with what tools does mri_reface create 3D renders of the .nii scans and then the resulting screenshots of those renders with the -saveQCRenders option.
Any help on this topic is appreciated, but we understand if this question is too off-topic or not relevant to this forum.
Thank you very much,
Jonas
Jonas,
To prevent potential misuse, I try to avoid providing too much
public detail about how to reliably bulk-reconstruct faces from
brain images. There is a lot of "secret sauce", but the core of the
code is the isosurface() tool in Matlab, followed by plotting that
surface with the Matlab internal plotting tools.
If you want to contact me via email with a more formal proposal of what type of work you're doing and why, we might be open to providing more detail or code for this.
Best regards,
Chris Schwarz
