Hi Farhana,

FSL's avg152 is an average of 152 subjects' MR images, aligned to a standard space (similar, but not the same as the Talairach space). This standard template was created by the ICBM and MNI. There is much more information here:

If by "converting" to avg152 you mean aligning your MR image to this standard space template, then yes, you may use FSL's flirt (type the name at the command line for help, or try Flirt with a capital F, or flirt_gui, to see a graphical user interface) to register your image to the template (reference).
