SPHARM-PDM for orthognatic surgery planning

There are instructions under the Doc section of this page (SPHARM-PDM tutorial) to add the tool as loadable module in the Slicer interface. The tutorial also include usage guidelines. For usage in commandline, we included instructions in the MediaWiki section of this page.
Stay tunned, SPHARM-PDM will be part of Slicer as an extension, which facilitates the usage of the tool in Slicer.

Hello.
I have read your publication were you applied this tool for planning orthognathic surgery. I am an orthodontist involved in orthognathic treatments and would like to learn how to plan these kind of treatments with SPHARM-PDM toolbox. I don´t understand if this tool has to be added to the 3dslicer software or if it works by itself. Could you explain to me briefly how to use it ?
