Three questions for SDM-PSI: atlas coordinates, resting vs task fMRI, and public dataset (HCP)
Dear SDM-PSI developers,
I have three methodological questions for my SDM-PSI
meta-analysis:
Some whole-brain studies reported significant regions with t/z/p/F values, but did NOT report MNI/Talairach peak coordinates (x,y,z).
According to official guidelines, is it acceptable to use standard atlas centroid coordinates (AAL, Harvard–Oxford) instead of the missing peaks?
All are BOLD fMRI or PET studies.
Can I combine resting-state fMRI (ALFF/fALFF/ReHo) and task-based fMRI in one single SDM-PSI analysis, or do they need to be analyzed as separate subgroups?
If a study derived its results from public datasets (e.g., HCP, Human Connectome Project) and reported whole-brain peak coordinates(MNI), may I include such studies in my meta-analysis?
Thank you very much for your official clarification.
