General information about forthcoming Meetings, Workshops, Conferences, Educational Opportunities, etc. are excellent content for the 'Conferences and Workshops' NITRC project (http://www.nitrc.org/projects/meetings/). This project is linked directly on the front page of NITRC.

NITRC members interested in providing information about their meeting via this project should email nitrcinfo@nitrc.org stating their NITRC username, as well as the name and brief description (or url link) of the event they want to promote. If the event is NITRC appropriate, the user will be added to the 'conference administrator' role of the 'Conferences and Workshops' NITRC project, where they can post news about the event, as well as host forum or documents related to the event. As with all NITRC projects, news within the project that is of general interest to the NITRC membership as a whole will be included in the NITRC Front Page news feed. (Remember to monitor this news group, or subscribe the the RSS feed to keep up to date with all your late-breaking NITRC information!)
