RE: MRIcroGL with R
MRIcroGL is a standalone executable, so you can not wrap it R.
However, it does have a scripting language that you can use to
launch it, open images, save bitmaps and even quit. This allows you
to control it with any programming language that allows you to
execute an external program - I provide samples for shell scripts,
Matlab and Python. A web search for "R execute external program"
will show you how to do this.
