I've also tried compiling
from source (using the included config script followed by make),
but that fails quickly with
./bxh_datarec.cpp: In
function ‘size_t path_match_dirs(const char*)’:
./bxh_datarec.cpp:117:36: error: invalid conversion from ‘const char*’ to ‘char*’
