I suspect the differences are due to Siemens storing the data in Montage format instead of a single image per DICOM file. If this is true the Montage format would be in a 6x6 grid (594/94 = 6 for rows and columns). The difference in the FOV is most likely due to a rounding error when they do the calculation and store the data. 1440/240 = 6. At least that is what i think is going on.
